Producer levy refunds are administered once per year with the period being August 1st to July 31st of the previous year. Refund applications must be received by the deadline of August 31st for the fiscal year the refund is being requested. Applications not received by the deadline or winter cereals sold outside the time frame are not eligible for refund. After the deadline, the SWCDC verifies each request for refund and must issue cheques to producers by October 31st.
Producers may request a refund of levy paid by contacting the SWCDC by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (1-833-857-3711) and requesting the applicable forms.
